SONY ENTERTAINMENT TELEVISION SECURES CARRIAGE DEAL WITH BT
London 10 December, 2013: Sony Pictures Television (SPT) Networks has concluded its first carriage agreement with British Telecom (BT) for its general entertainment channel, Sony Entertainment Television.
Sony Entertainment Television is one of SPT’s global channel brands, featuring top-rating light and scripted entertainment, including feature films and television series from the Hollywood studios. SPT Networks operates a bespoke version of the channel for the UK, also scheduling British television series.
From next week, BT subscribers will be offered Sony Entertainment Television through the BT TV ‘Entertainment’ and ‘Unlimited Extra’ packages. Viewers will be able to access television series such as Will and Grace, Life on Mars and Jane Eyre as well as feature films such as Seven Years in Tibet, Master and Commander and My Cousin Vinnie.

SPT’s global channels portfolio includes 124 channel feeds, available in 159 countries and reaching more than 840 million households worldwide.
