Senior Vice President, Networks, Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East &
Based in London, Lyle Stewart is senior vice president, networks, Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEEMA) for Sony Pictures Television (SPT). He is responsible for business development and oversees all of SPT's existing networks in the CEEMA region.
Stewart has helped grow SPT's pay TV offerings and was an early proponent of exploring opportunities in the digital space. Today, SPT Networks is a regional leader in SVOD and Stewart continues to drive for the monetization of SPT Networks content across all platforms.
Stewart began his career at Paramount before joining Columbia Tri-Star in the Domestic research group. He then moved to New York for a program planning and acquisitions position at Comedy Central. Stewart returned to Columbia Tri-Star before moving to London in 2000 to spearhead the company's first research group in Europe, helping them to launch new networks.
Stewart is a member of the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
He received his undergraduate degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Washington, Seattle and earned his graduate degree in communication management from the University of Southern California's Annenberg School for Communication.
